Eto'o shocks press room.

Today Samuel Eto’o added a twist today after he said he could be joining an English team in an interview the Cameroon world-class player said “Don't be surprised, I could join an English club very soon." So we will need to watch him very carefully.

The 30 year old also added “Negotiations are still in progress," he said. "Nothing says for sure that I'll depart from or stay at Inter, to whom I'm still contracted. But what I can assure you is that nothing has been concluded and as I leave this conference hall, I'll be going back to the negotiation table with the club.”

It has been said that he is very close to a move to Russian club ‘Anzhi Makhachkala’ for around a £30 million deal. Eto’o has also been liked with English clubs Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City.

Adebayor set to go on loan for Tottenham.

Tottenham’s manager Harry Redknapp is closer to getting Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor after Manchester City have agreed wages with Tottenham. City have agreed to subside Adebayor’s £125,000 wage weekly in order to get him off the books.

Redknapp will be pleased if he manages to get Emmanuel Adebayor seeing as he will bring greediness and goals to the side, which makes him a constant threat to opponents. The 27 year old joined City in 2009 and scored 15 goals in 34 games, I think that is pretty decent and if we can see more of that at Tottenham they could be potential league winners.

Blackburn vs. Wolverhampton (Score prediction: 2-1)

Kick off is at 15:00pm. I think it’ll be good passing and movement right from the first whistle. I can see 20 year old Hoilett performing well in this game as last season he starting getting involved a bit more and did well for Blackburn Rover by getting 5 goals in 24 games. As well as this, with Blackburn loosing star defender Phil Jones and Christopher Samba being injured it will be hard for Blackburn to defend against a strike force including players such as Kevin Doyle, Steven Fletcher and Ebanks-Blake.

Fulham vs. Aston Villa (Score prediction: 0-2)

Kick off is at 15:00pm. With Aston Villa’s quick pacing side I can see this game being a very fast paced game with players from Aston Villa such as Gabriel Agbonlahor, Darren Bent and Charles N’Zogbia. Plus players from Fulham like Moussa Dembele, Bobby Zamora and Clint Dempsey. Seeing as Darren Bent started of his career for Aston Villa with 9 goals in 16 games. I think he’ll do well this season with his stunning start last season. I predict Brad Friedel will do well for Aston Villa this season by starting off with a clean sheet.

Liverpool vs. Sunderland (Score prediction: 3-0)

Kick off is at 15:00pm. With some of Sunderland’s starting line-up not being able to play. I think it’ll be hard for Sunderland to defend against Liverpool’s highly-talented forwards such as Andy Carroll, Dirk Kuyt, Maxi Rodriguez, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam. Sunderland’s Asamoah Gyan will play well as usual but I don’t think he’ll be able to slide one past Pepe Reina.

QPR vs. Bolton (Score prediction: 0-0)

Kick off is at 15:00pm. There will be good play through the whole game but I can’t see either team really dominating and I think it will end as a bore draw.

Tottenham vs. Everton (CALLED OFF)

Wigan vs. Norwich (Score prediction: 2-0)

Kick off is at 15:00pm. Although Wigan have sold a few of their good players, I think they still have a good strike force including Rodallega, Moses and Di Santo. I think these should be able to get Wigan a couple of goals to win them the game.

Newcastle vs. Arsenal (Score prediction: 2-3)

Kick off is at 17:30pm. With Newcastle selling the top striker last year to Liverpool (Andy Carroll) This made more room for other strikers to come in like Demba Ba. Demba Ba had an amazing first season with relegation side West Ham last season by getting 7 goals in 12 games. Arsenal have also made some improvements to there side by bringing in 24 year old Gervinho, who previously played for lille and scored 28 goals in 67 games. I think the strike force of Van Persie, Theo Walcott and Gervinho could win this for Arsenal but considing two goals from being let down by sloppy defense as Arsene Wenger is yet to buy a strong Centre-back to accompany Thomas Vermaelen.

Fabregas waves goodbye to old Arsenal team mates as Barcelona close in.

After all the speculation Cesc Fabregas is within react of the Barcelona shirt as he says goodbye's to old Arsenal teammates.


The 24 year old Spaniard is believed to be flying to Barcelona in the 2 days. This is a deal to be worth £29.8 Million plus a £5.3 in add-ons. Cesc Fabregas and other Barcelona teammates have been tweeting things such as "Today will be a great day" and "I'm glad to join FCB".


Cesc Fabregas has served Arsenal well in his 7 year career at there. He joined Arsenal at the age of 16 in 2003 and since then has grown alot. He has capped Arsenal 212 times and has netted 35 goals. In 2008 he was then named Arsenal's new captain and leaded them through the league to finish 4th in 2008-09, Then to finish 3rd in 2009-10 and then finished 4th in his last season 2010-11. 


Today, on Twitter Cesc's Barca teammates have been tweeting about Fabregas coming home and today will be a great day. Puyol has said "Booooyyyy!!! Welcome home!!! Happy to have you here," Whilst Pique added "He's Finally here!!". 


Cesc is thought to be signing a 5 year deal with FCBarcelona.

My opinion is whilst it'll be sad for Arsenal fan's to see Cesc go seeing as he worked the midfield well through the years and was seen as the 'dad' figure in Arsenal recently and helped control the team and keep them together. He also hasn't won a trophy whilst he has been at the club and this could be maybe a good thing if he goes, so Arsenal can have a nice fresh start with a new midfield and some young fresh talent. 

Jose Enrique joins Liverpool

Jose Enrique the 25 year old Spaniard joined Liverpool for around £6 Million on a long-term deal.

Enrique expressed his feelings for joining Liverpool by saying "This is one of the happiest days of my life. I have come to one of the biggest clubs not just in england, but in the world."

The defender joined The Toon Army in 2007 and left in 2011, during his Newcastle career he has played 117 games and bagged himself one goal. 

Barcelona announce Cesc Fabregas will be signed within a matter of hours!

Today FCBarcelona have announced Cesc Fabregas in literally hours away from signing for his boyhood club FCBarcelona. Whilst Arsene Wenger has said he didn't think Cesc Fabregas would move this season. I'm not sure about you, but i think Wenger is running out of excuses as i think everyone knew Fabregas would be leaving soon as he had been speculating about FCBarcelona for 2 years now.

Although Arsene Wenger has said this, he has also left Cesc out of the newcastle game. There is nothing on the Arsenal official website to say Cesc Fabregas is injured. The reason he hasn't traveled with the rest of the Arsenal squad in unknown. It'll probably be brushed as side by saying he's not "match fit".
